Which of the steps in powder processing can be combined? Which cannot?

This is a thought question To help you prepare the answer consider the following.

• A simple list is not sufficient.
• You must describe each step in powder processing in order to show clear reasoning. Try including a description of each step layman’s terms
• It is only possible to consider combining sequential steps. For example step 72 could be combined only with step 71 or 73.
• If two steps can be combined is it possible to combine three. For example if steps 102 and 103 can be combined, is it possible to combine steps 101,102 and 103 or 102, 103 and 104?
• If and only if 3 steps can be combined would it be possible to combine 4 steps.
• Consider making a series of tables as shown in the solutions for HW 2. However, do not include this series of tables in your answer.
