Explain the advantages and disadvantages of using hardness for quality control.

• Quality control will allow you determine if what you received is what you ordered based on properties.
• Tensile testing is an alternative means of quality control.
• Use your practica experience with hardness testing and tensile testing as a reference.
• Consider how different hardness values would have to be for you to consider the samples different based on the practica experience.
